Hi, I'm Coach Kevin. In my mid-forties I was as overweight and unhealthy as I’d ever been in my life. So I decided to lose some weight and get back in shape by going on a diet and lacing up my running shoes. And after months of running 5 days a week and being “hangry” all the time, I got phenomenally unremarkable results. Sure, I lost a couple of pounds (which I immediately regained after I stopped dieting), but I sure didn’t look (or feel) all that great. Basically, I went from being unhealthy and overweight to being slightly less unhealthy and skinny fat.
My "ah-ha" moment came when I STOPPED dieting and running and started to focus on lifting weights and eating to fuel and nourish my body (as opposed to restricting what and when I ate).
